Is it possible to get tested for ct contrast injection allergy before ever having the procedure?

Contrast allergy: If you're uncertain of your status and never had a serious allergic response to contrast agents, I recommend consulting an allergist and or an experienced radiologist for advice on the best testing method as skin testing may be unreliable unless one has had a severe reaction to contrast agents in the past.
