What time are doctors available to call other than for second opinions only?

Day, night, any time: Doctors are online for private consultations at any time in most of the US. Because medical licensure here is by state, doctors usually have 1, 2, or 3 state licenses at the most. If in your state, there is a doctor taking live calls who is not in a visit with another patient, you'll be offered to connect. Otherwise you may be offered a visit for a Second Opinion on your existing diagnosis. (2019)
