Chalazion: If the lump is in the middle of the eyelid and not on the edge, it is likely a chalazion caused by a blocked tear duct. Hot compresses may do the job, but I prefer that an ophthalmologist examine you for diagnosis and definitive treatment as chalazions can recur if partially treated.
