Basal temperatures : Taking your temperature "every day" is usually a way to predict ovulation, and since the temperature does vary (even if taken at the same time) , if you are trying to estimate when your fertility is maximized, get an ovulation detection kit from your local drugstore, which measures a specific hormone which in turn promotes release of a egg from the ovary.
