A member asked:

Is it normal for a teenager with hypertension to experience the symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Although many people with hypertension have no symptoms, elevated blood pressure, especially when it rises suddenly, may cause headache, dizzy feelings, nose bleeds, visual symptoms or vague fuzzy feelings, possible palpitations. I believe that the rate of the rise in bp is more determinant in causing symptoms.
