See GP: The evaluation of whether nausea and vomiting with pregnancy is excessive involves some lab tests, and often an ultrasound. It's not determined so much by how much you are vomiting, but whether you're vomiting enough to cause some problems, like electrolyte, fluid, and weight problems, and by checking the status of the pregnancy. I wish you and your baby good health!

See OB: You need to be careful about becoming dehydrated. You may need medicine to help with the nausea and vomiting. You may also need IV fluids.
