A member asked:

Er twice this weekend due to heavy period. urine showed protein and chloride in blood has been up for months. what do i do? no one is addressing it.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Heavy periods ?: Heavy bleeding may occur b/c of failure to ovulate regularly at age 39, with increased estrogen produced by overstimulated ovaries and consequent heavy bleeding from breakdown of uterine lining. This sort of bleeding is also common with enlarged fibroid tumors in the uterus. See your gyn physician , or get a referral for one to find out the cause.
