Uti: Apparently this is not a simple uncomplicated UTI usually seen in women. It calls for a clean catch urine culture and colony count to identify the bacteria and appropriate antibiotic treatment. The rash,especially if it becomes generalized is suspicious of an allergic reaction to the sulfa or the trimethoprim. A urologist is best to treat complicated UTI's with underlying structural abnormalities
