Think about it: How do you know that you have suffered a heart attack? Perhaps you think that's a silly question for a 27-year-old to ask. How many people your age have heart attacks? The same reasoning applies to TIAs. People under 40 can have TIAs or strokes, but they are so rare that they are a diagnosis of exclusion after several other things have been ruled out. If you're concerned, see your doctor.
