Yes-ER!: Acute bloody diarrhea is considered a medical emergency and so I strongly encourage you to go to an ER immediately. Possible causes include serious infections, inflammatory bowel disease and injury. The sooner you are properly diagnosed and treated the better your chances for recovery.
