GERD: Is a common condition, mostly due to overweight, fatty foods, caffeinated beverages, etc.. can it be due to other conditions as hiatus hernia, or other diseases of the stomach, possible, if not improving on common antacids or anti -GERD medications, besides watching your diet and weight, better see a gastroenterologist for assessment and treatment plan, wish you well and good luck
