Cleaned my r ear with a cotton ball wet with 70% ethyl rubbing alcohol.vapor got into r eye.caused burning& itchy sensation. can alcohol harm my eye?

Temporary only: Vapor of rubbing alcohol or moisture from the cotton ball can cause temporary irritation to the eye, but will not cause permanent damage. Rinse the eye with water and apply cool compresses.
