Dyshidrotic eczema: Dyshidrosis is the most likely explanation and can come from stress, excessive sweating, and has been associated with seasonal allergies. The blisters last 2-3 weeks and then the skin may appear dry and peel. A viral infection caused by a coxsackie virus and often referred to as "hand, foot, mouth" virus also causes red blisters but includes mouth lesions and lesions are scattered.
