It is : important to know whether there are symptoms associated, are they raised or flat, are they diffuse or isolated to one area, do they spread into mouth or onto skin around mouth and have you had before. Additionally visual inspection is important and is best performed in person with your doctor. Even a photograph can be deceiving online. I recommend an evaluation by your PCP if they don't resolve
