How do i know if that my son is getting better from the flu?

Need more info: How old is your son?6 months,10 years,20 yo? If older he will be able to tell you he feels better.Younger his fever will begin to abate and his appetite will pick up and more playful.He will still fontinue to cough but will likely decrease some.
