Need a bit more : information regarding duration of pain, radiation, associated symptoms if any and prior history of headaches, scalp/brain surgery, recent trauma, fevers and overall health. Additionally, any new medications would be useful. In general, pain that lasts but a few seconds, is easily located and has no other significant symptoms is benign. That being said,, any changes should be evaluated by PCP.
