Anesthesia: Don't be terrified. Not that bad, and it only lasts for a short while. Your upper lip and right under your nose will feel numb.

See Details.: Usually you get local infiltration anaethsia for the anterior restorations. This would numb your teeth, your upper lip and a nose also. Depending upon the type of anaethsia used, you may expect to remain numb from about half an hours to 2-3 hrs. The good part is you would not feel any pain during the procedure.
