Can't say: She may have stepped into something that triggered the response or have a sensitivity from the nerves within the feet. An exam would be needed to sort this out if then.

Allergic reaction: I would advise checking the feet for any rash, swelling or peeling. For her itching, soothe the skin with Caladryl lotion and if it continues please see your PCP.
