My gums are always sore when i eat meat or not soft food any idea what could be causing this?

Inflammation: Your gingiva appear to be inflamed. This can occur when calculus (hardened bacterial deposits) stick to your teeth near the gumline. These deposits need to be removed by a dentist or hygienist. If it has been more that six months since your last dental cleaning it is time to call for an appointment.

Sore gums: Probably gum disease, a multiple bacteria driven infection that causes inflammation. Please see your Dentist immediately. Depending on extent of the disease the services of a specialist Periodontist may be in order. Gum disease does not self-cure, and will cause eventual tooth loss, so see your Dentist ASAP.
