A member asked:

I have pcos- is there any medications that do not require prescriptions that would help?

Possibly: Pco's is a medical condition that has a wide clinical variation or appearance. This means different patients, with the same diagnosis of pco's, will exhibit different medical problems. For example, one patient may have acne and another may not have that problem at all. Thus, would need to know the specific symptoms you are trying to resolve to help determine the answer to this question.

Weight loss: One of the best treatment for pcos is weight loss and it doesn't need a prescription. Make sure you give this your best effort. Even if you are on medications, losing weight will help make the medications more effective and possibly get off them. Good luck.
