Depends on cause: Some things you can try at home for musculo-skeletal back pain include a warm shower with the water aimed at your back, a heating pad (insure that you don’t get burned), stretching & Tylenol or NSAID’s. If your pain is severe or chronic, a medical evaluation would be prudent. Acupuncture & massage can be beneficial for some types of back pain.
