Proctologist: Possibilities include perianal dermatitis, anal fissure, proctitis or hemorrhoids. An abscess or tumor are not likely. Try avoiding vigorous anal wiping with harsh toilet paper and after a few wipes with plain toilet paper, clean further with a lotion like balneol. When dry apply a cortisone type cream.. If not improved after several days, consult a proctologist for diagnosis and treatment.
