The pain is isolated to my forearms. both forearms arms feel extremely uncomfortable and deadlike and this pain has woken me from my sleep. what could the cause be for this?

Not common: These are not common symptoms. Pain and numbness in both arms - the more serious possibilities are a neurologic problem or vascular problem. Consider vascular problem more seriously if you have evidence of poor perfusion (pale, white hands or decreased pulses) especially when you lift arms over head. Consider neurologic more seriously if pain is triggered by neck position or assoc with neck pain
