A member asked:

Does pumping breast damage breast in anyway?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: No. Breast pumps are designed to produce the appropriate suction for that purpose. The only exception is an ongoing breast infection can produce soreness and irritation of the nipple when pumped by a mechanical machine and not by hand or hand suction.
