Yes, but: Your pumping effort can never extract as much milk as baby can during a feeding.With less extracted, you run the risk of decreasing your supply and eventually needing to supplement. Breastfeeding is an event, where baby listens to your heart beating as it did in the womb. It finds this peaceful and endears baby to mom. Nutrition is equal, experience never can be.
