NO: Antibiotics will not help cure an influenza infection, unless you have a superimposed bacterial infection on top of the flu. Consult with your PCP.

Agree with Dr. F: Preventive antibiotics for bacterial pneumonia is not a medically sound idea. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/.
