Many illnesses: Mycotoxins are produced by microfungi & can cause disease & death in people. Some mycotoxins are used as antibiotics, growth promotants & other kinds of drugs but others have been implicated as chemical warfare agents. There's an association between food contaminated with mycotoxins & illness, particularly hepatic, gastrointestinal & carcinogenic diseases. Best of luck with your health!
