A member asked:

What if holter moniter shows normal waves but increased heart rate at times.what would the doctor do? is that normal? what are steps afterwards

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: It all depends on what was happening at the time and how fast it was. As well as the rhythm that was observed.A holter is worn for 24 or 48 hours so if you are doing yard work or other things will get an increased heart.A diary is kept by the patient to correlate with the recording to see if the symptoms that the patient has is the same time as events on the holter.
