Maybe/not: I look at the inside of the eyelids to decide if a kids brain is getting enough oxygen & by default all other major organs. If you put your finger tip below the eye & tug down the lower lid is exposed & pink means good. A bluish tinge sometimes just means slowed blood flow through some areas. The lips are a common example.
