Viral syndrome: A viral infection is likely. Treatment consists of resting, drinking adequate fluids, taking Tylenol as needed and, because of abdominal symptoms, following a light diet of broth, saltines,etc. If cough or abdominal symptoms worsen instead of gradually improving, see your physician for evaluation and treatment.
