Hard to know: Two phase illnesses like yours are recognised in the study of infections and usually but not always mean virus. Where you live is an important clue. In any case it is impossible to diagnose you with this condition online. Doesn't sound like a stomach virus. If you don't recover quickly and perhaps even if you do ~I would go and see a doctor, an Infectious Disease doctor if you can.
