Sore throat: need more details like temp, cough, etc. The lesion you describe near the uvula is also quite nonspecific. And the only way to rule out strep is with a throat culture, even with no history. Taking homeopathic medicines like the Oscillo is usually of little benefit if it is a viral infection as it sounds like this is, even prescription antivirals are ineffective at this time.
