Depends: This depends on who is doing the bottle feeding & how it is done. A mother who has direct body & eye to eye contact has a more intense & nurturing experience than those who do not. Propping a bottle up while the baby feeds alone is what was often done in foundling homes where babies grew up with mental/social problems.
