A member asked:

If i had exertional rhabdo in december 2017, am i at high risk of having flu complications since rhabdo is also flu-induced?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe/not: It really depends on the strain of flu involved. Influenza B is more likely to affect muscles, but the condition is usually mild. Your past experience through a different triggering mechanism is probably not going to matter. Get a flu shot & you can avoid the issue.
