It depends: The Evorel 50 patch is an estrogen only patch, so if you have a uterus you would need to take a progesterone product with the patch. There are a number of risks and benefits with the patch, and you and your Dr should discuss these so you can make an informed decision whether the patch is right for you. There are some women who shouldn't use this patch (history of breast cancer, stroke, clots etc)

Risk factors: There are serious possible side effects with the use of Evorel patches for hormone replacement therapy including heart disease, stroke, blood clots & increased risk of breast, endometrial & ovarian cancer & increased risk of dementia. Therefore Evorel patches should only be used under very close supervision by a qualified physician.
