A member asked:

Can the 6 week vaccination make my child sick?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually no symptoms: After a vaccination in a baby, there is usually about 3 minutes of crying, then a couple of days of mild soreness at the site in the thigh if you push on it. A baby usually has no change in behavior at home at all (parents rarely call me to say there are symptoms). Once in a while, a baby may be a little fussier and not sleep as well at night for the 2 days after a shot (maybe the thigh aches).
