Flu: Influenza causes a sudden high fever (temperature more than 100.4 F or 38 C), body aches, sore throat, cough, nausea. diarrhea. vomiting. Its flu season right now in areas where the temperature is cold. Most upper respiratory infections are viruses. Influenza is an exception to most viral infections of the respiratory system, it has a treatment it works when given within two days of the onset.
