Progesterone test?: Usually a "progesterone test" is done after pregnancy is determined, and spotting or light bleeding occurs in the 7th-9th week. If your not pregnant, there are few reasons to test for progesterone , so you might want to see a reproductive endocrinologist if your hormone levels are suspected as being abnormal.
