Sleep is tricky: Usually 5 hours of sleep for a 23 year old would seem a bit shy. Sleep requirements peak in teenagers at around 10 or 11 hours and drop steadily thru-out life. If you are feeling well-rested and not experiencing a lot of stress in your life, 5 hours may just be adequate for you. If you cant sleep, get up and start your day. Your body will tell you to if you need more sleep and when.
