1 year old has a hoarse voice from monday, no cough or fever. must i be worried?

Not necessarily: These are often localized viral infections of the upper airway affecting the vocal cords. If the kid eats/plays/sleeps normally I would consider it as worrisome as a cold. If the kid declines feeds,won't lay down, drools constantly take the kid in for an evaluation.
