Just started carvedilol for low ejection fraction (40%), it is ok to continue intermittent fasting on this?

Fasting: How severe will your fasting be? Hours,day? Many patients on carvedolol fast 12 hours for lab work without problems. I and many physicians don't approve of severe fasting to the point of causing metabolic acidosis and are not fans of fad diets for anyone.
