Cancer unlikely: If you are gaining weight pancreatic cancer is unlikely. Your elevated ALT is more likely due to fatty change in the liver. Do not use acetaminophen or alcohol. Try to lose weight though diet and exercise. Have a healthy diet, exercise, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
