For the last month, any time I use my right hand thumb to do anything, like twisting open a bottle or opening a bag, it starts twitching and spasms for a few seconds. There's no pain, but when it does this I can't control it. What might be the cause?
I have very minor twitching at base of left thumb (when I move the thumb closer to my index finger, it trembles a little). I jammed said thumb 2+ years ago. I'm right handed. Could that have caused this twitching? I have no known health issues.
