Cubital tunnel can: affect the intrinsic muscles of the hand which includes a muscle called the adductor pollicus which crosses the web space from the palm to the thumb and brings the thumb towards the palm. S yes twitching can be a sign that this muscle is affected. You can feel this muscle if you grab it between your thumb and index metacarpal as in the picture as seen from the palm side (the hand is upside down)
