Good evening i would like to know, is spotting after sexual intercourse normal? i had a miscarriage about a year ago and a surgical procedure was done. i've been experiencing the spotting and some pain during intercourse as well.

Spotting with sex: The most common cause of bleeding ("spotting") after sexual relations is irritation of an inflamed cervix. See your gyn provider for an exam, as this can be easily treated with hot or cold cautery , adding a Pap smear and possible colposcopy if necessary.
