Moist heat: Moist heat can often bring area to a “head” allowing the purulent fluid to drain out. If you start developing redness or heat spreading around the area, consider being seen for possible drainage, cultures, and an antibiotic.

Agree with Dr. H: If you develop more boils, it would be prudent to see your doctor to exclude an underlying disorder like diabetes. Wish you good health.
