Cardiologist said he didn't think my palpitations were anything physiological, can you explain to me what he means by that? thanks!

Odd: Physiological means "relating to the branch of biology that deals with the normal functions of living organisms and their parts.". Pathological means abnormal (essentially). It is odd to say palpitations (a perceived problem) are not physiological, because that technically means that they are not normal. Please clarify with cardiologist, since palpitations that are not physiological may need meds.

clarify: I suspect he was saying that no arrhythmia was present at the time you felt the sensation of an irregular beat, but best to clarify this with the doc
