Time of test: It is unlikely that you are pregnant, however if you miss your period by 4-5 days, do a home pregnancy test or get a blood test for HCG level. A negative result from a test done too early doesn't exclude pregnancy. Use contraception all the time. Get HPV vaccine.

Plan B: Plan B is not 100% certain as a contraceptive. If there was pre-ejaculation fluid in contact with the vagina, sperm is contained within, and pregnancy may occur. If your period is delayed for a week or more, get a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy.
