Yes, if awake: If you are an adult and in charge of your affairs, there is no obligation that anyone be contacted at all on your behalf--so, you are able to specify what is/is not shared with them if contacted or present. But, to prevent accidental disclosure, you should do your part to express to your provider(s) your specific requests for privacy so a mistaken assumption is not made that it is ok.
