A member asked:

I am currently on gynette if i change to a mirena what effect will it have on my skin??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Perhaps nothing: Ginette has antiandrogenic properties which means it can help manage acne in some women. If you have a tendency to get acne then stopping the Ginette may cause the acne to worsen, but not necessarily. The Mirena itself should have no effect on your skin.
